FleetConnect is the leading Irish provider of award-winning wireless communications products and services. We try to help our customers understand every aspect of the services that we provide and help them have a better understanding of what it is they are buying. The following are some of the most common questions we are asked

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL?

Times for installation can vary. It will depend on the make and model of the coach. Once we get access to the coach installation of a device can take between 1 – 1.5 hours per vehicle.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF OUR DEVICES?

When you sign up with us you are immediately assigned an account manager who monitors your account and informs you when there is a problem. We can either fix this problem remotely or have one of our skilled Engineers assigned to service the vehicle for you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SELL THE COACH?

Vehicles are sold all the time in this industry. There are a number of options available when a coach is sold. If the unit is a rental, there is the option to return the device after the agreed rental period. If the unit is a purchase, the unit can be sold with the coach to a new customer who can contact us to avail of Wi-Fi if they wished.

FOR THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND DOES IT INCLUDE UK ROAMING?

For our Republic of Ireland customers, the SIM cards supplied are for use in the Republic of Ireland only. For those of our customers whose buses and coaches travel to the UK we offer a roaming SIM at an extra fee.

WHAT MARKETING TOOLS CAN WE INCLUDE?

There are several marketing tools that can be used which will help you learn more about your passenger’s needs. Passenger information can be collected through a registration process or surveys hosted on your customised passenger Wi-Fi portal.

Marketing offers can be pushed to returning passengers, opening up an additional advertising revenue stream for operators.

IS THERE A SUPPORT SERVICE FOR CUSTOMERS WHO NEED ASSISTANCE IF THEY CANNOT GET CONNECTED?

WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL MY PASSENGERS HAVE?

The WiFi service you offer to your passengers can be a free or paid for service. The service can be further enhanced through infotainment and it can be updated frequently so there this will be keep experiences fresh for returning customers.
